PAST TENSE
To understand how to conjugate a Korean verb into its past tense, you need to know how to do so at the present!
Basically, all you need to do is to remove the -요 syllable from the present verb and add -ㅆ (so 봐요 would become 봤). Then you always have to put -어 and, finally, you can put the polite particle -요 again.
