"연세가 어떻게 되세요?" means "how old are you?" in Korean.
Even if you're 100% sure you know how to answer this question, you may struggle if you're asked it in Korea.
Your age is different in Korea because they count the nine months you're in your mother's womb as your first year of life. Despite this, you can still calculate your Korean age!
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR KOREAN AGE
First method: *current year* + 1 - *your year of birth*
Second method: *your age* + *1 if your birthday has already passed this year or 2 if it hasn't*
Basically, you're older in Korea!
