ADJECTIVES

Adjectives are used as verbs in Korean, so you'll find them in the dictionary with the -다 particle and you'll conjugate them like verbs.

Basically, if you want to say that something or someone is tall, you'll conjugate 높다 (to be tall).

Eg: that tree is tall → 그 나무가 높어요.

Instead, if you want to say something tall to make an action, you remove -다 and add -ㄴ if the adjective ends with a vowel and -은 if it ends with a consonant.

Eg: I like that tall tree → 그 높은 나무를 좋아해요.

PAY ATTENTION not to use the verb 이다 (to be) to make adjectives, because they're verbs already!
